Creative pattern cutting workshop

In collaboration with EtsyUK join Tiina Burton, a.k.a. tiinateaspoon (a.k.a. me!), for a fun day of experimental pattern cutting. Suitable both for beginners and those wishing to learn new approaches, we'll start simply by adding volume to basic patterns, then play creatively with abstract shapes and ideas to create forms. You can create samples to take home, and will be shown how the patterns you create could be used to assemble garments.

When: Saturday, November 27, 2010. 10am - 5pm.

Where: Oh Sew Brixton, 12d Piano House, 9 Brighton Terrace, Brixton, London, SW9 8DJ.

How: £10 per person to cover materials. To reserve your place, contact Fiona Douglas on 07710 242 933.

We make London fair

I spent last Saturday helping out on the UK Handmade magazine stall at the We make fair, and saw soooo many beautiful things to buy! I also happened to be caught on video whilst hyper on cola :D
